This is just a quick update on what we have been up to in our preparation for Costa Rica. We have had a really busy schedule with speaking engagements at church's around our local area. As we continue to raise support, it has been a humbling yet encouraging experience. God has shown his face to us in many different areas of this process, and what a blessing it has been. We have also been trying to sell all of our unnecessary items. Some of them have proved to be difficult to sell. One of them being our house. It has been for sale for over a year, and we have had a hard time sparking any interest, but I know that God will send the right person in his own time. We ask for prayers that God continues to convict people to support us spiritually and financially. God is good, and he will always be faithful to us. So we know that he will provide what we need.

I recently returned from a trip to CR. It was as always a great time to reflect and bask in the warmth of Gods love. While in CR, our group was blessed to be able to install 3 septic tanks. One was for the house that we will be living in. It was a lot of hard work, but we managed to get them all done one shovel at a time. The dirt there was full of rocks which made it difficult to get even half of the shovel full of dirt. We all had the blisters to prove that it was difficult work, except for the Sanchez's who out worked us all. But all in all it was a wonderful time working, and fellowshipping with brothers and sisters in Christ.
As you can see some of those holes were quite large but we managed to get 3 done in just 3 days!
We also had the opportunity to go and give some bibles to a church that was in need. To see there appreciation go without saying was humbling. We also had the chance to go to a couple of parks and play some music. And with Drew Baldridge with us, it raised quite a crowd. Some came to the park, while others just stood in there doorways and watched and listened. One evening we got to go and worship with a church that they call the Happy Jumping Church. To say the least they were happy. Happy of how God was using and blessing them. It was a wonderful night. Drew Baldridge got the chance to share his gift of singing and Micah Schnautz delivered the message. God was glorified, and the spirit moved people to examine there lives, and one man rededicated his life to Christ after planning to leave the church. God is good and proves it in my life over and over again. Continue to pray for this ministry. I am excited to see what God is going to do with it. I pray that he is glorified in all that happens there, and we continue to live in Christ's vision.

God bless you! I will try to continue to post updates as time goes on and especially when we make the move to CR.
For His Glory,
The Splechters
